Intermediate Electrical Draughtsman

Applicants must have the following requirements :

Must have a National Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Draughting

Must have 3-5 years of experience in electrical draughting, specifically heavy current applications

Must be proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Must have strong knowledge of electrical symbols, conventions, and drawing standards

Must have knowledge of electrical protection systems and equipment

Must have strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards such as SANS 10142, SANS 10199, and IEC standards.

Must have knowledge of electrical equipment specifications and applications

Must have knowledge of electrical protection principles and coordination

Must be familiar with municipal and Eskom connection requirements

Must have a valid driver's license
