Job description

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To co-ordinate staff in line with hospital and Clinical requirements and to establish safe staffing in all nursing units and wards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

  • Manage client staffing requests
  • Manage the placement of panel members

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • ESSENTIAL EDUCATION : Professional Nurse qualification
  • DESIRED EDUCATION : Nursing Administration qualification

    • REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : 5 years nursing experience in a private hospital environment
  • DESIRED EXPERIENCE : Experience in general and specialised nursing units

    • REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Infection prevention and control
  • Nursing processes and procedures
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Relevant nursing legislation
  • Record keeping
  • Analytical and report writing skills
  • Risk identification
  • Workforce Management System (i.e. Kronos)
