Job description

As the Imports Logistics Coordinator , youll manage the end-to-end import process , collaborating with suppliers, freight partners, and internal teams to guarantee seamless, efficient logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate and manage international shipments from origin to final delivery.
  • Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and clearing agents to ensure timely clearance and transport.
  • Verify and process all import documentation , including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
  • Track container movements, monitor ETAs / ETDs, and update key stakeholders proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, Incoterms, and import legislation .
  • Support procurement and finance teams with landed cost analysis and supplier reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate data on ERP systems and prepare logistics performance reports.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Education :

    • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or International Trade (preferred).

  • Experience :

    • Minimum 35 years of experience in imports logistics coordination or freight forwarding .

  • Solid understanding of customs processes, tariff codes, and import controls .
  • Experience managing sea, air, and road freight shipments.
  • ERP knowledge (SAP, Syspro, or similar) and advanced Excel proficiency.
