Your Day to Day Life

We are looking for a Senior Accountant in 7 WARRINGTON ROAD, CLAREMONT, CT, WESTERN CAPE 7708 ZAF. Your mission will be to :

We are recruiting for a SENIOR ACCOUNTANT to join our team in Cape Town.

A newly qualified CA who wants to move into accounting or SAIPA articles with at least 5 years experience.

The individual must have :

Keen interest in accounting
Good work ethic
Not afraid to put in the hours
Strong analytical mind and ability to link the process to business needs
EXCEL skills
Detail Oriented
Team player who can also plan and lead the team to meet very strict deadlines
Proven ability to manage accounting figures and financial records
Good understanding of procurement processes from PO to Payment is added advantage
Good understanding of internal controls required for a multinational subsidiary
A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Your Profile

You'll be tasked with :

FAR – CAPEX plans and depreciation

WiP calculations

IFRS 16

Payroll recons

Provisions

Inventory movement management

CoS analysis

VAT and Income Tax

Statutory requirements

Management Accounts Review
