- You will manage and oversee the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn.
- You will be exceptionally meticulous, and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time. Achieving inventory accuracy, coordinating orders, and tracking shipping times, overseeing the fulfilment of millions of product orders every year.
- You will contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice transport & logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance. Identifying and driving the fundamental changes necessary to orient the behaviour of teams towards customer needs
Your key responsibilities
Provide direction, leadership and mentoring to the Internal & External Logistics’ staff to meet the long-term goals of the Supply ChainEnsure proper alignment and efficient teamwork with key clients and partners on site (Facility Management, Production, QHSE, Customer Experience, Planning and other support functions.Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goalsImplement a performance-driven culture through Continuous Improvement / Lean / Kaizen principles and conceptsProvide overall direction to the Internal Logistics teams including Goods Inbound, Goods Outbound / Outbound Deliveries.Ensure a high level of focus on health & safety, housekeeping stock management / stock accuracy, allergen control, & labellingDevelop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shippingTrain and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short-term and long-term performance goalsOversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logisticsReview and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are metMaintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulationsManage daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer serviceSchedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands of the fulfilment centre, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtimeInspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as neededMeet regularly with warehouse leads to review, analyse, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss preventionOversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packagesWe offer

A Degree in operations, supply chain, logistics or equivalent. An MBA or master’s degree advantageous10+ years’ experience managing internal & external logistics and leading teamsMust have knowledge of : Food Safety, Warehousing. With Knowledge on topics related to food safety : GMP, FSSC 22000, Food Defence, Food Safety.Knowledge in International Standards (ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001)Strong influencing and interpersonal skills with ability to work with multifunctional teamsBusiness acumen and ability to interact with technical counterpartsGood analytical skills, data-driven decision makingExcellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualitiesComfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedbackPlanning and organizingInfluencing and inspiring teamsStakeholder managementAbility to travel nationally and internationallyStore Keeping / Procurement jobs
