Junior Restaurant Manager – Luxury Restaurant Group, Franschhoek
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Restaurant Manager to join a prestigious luxury restaurant group in Franschhoek. This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for hospitality and a desire to develop their management skills within a high-end dining environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and exceptional guest experiences.
Support the Restaurant Manager in supervising and motivating the team.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
Assist with staff training, development, and performance management.
Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
Handle guest enquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
Support inventory management, stock control, and ordering processes.
Contribute to achieving revenue and profitability targets.
Requirements :
Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a luxury or fine dining restaurant is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
Knowledge of restaurant operations, food and beverage service standards, and hospitality best practices.
Professional, well-presented, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Salary : Negotiable depending on experience.
