Front-End Loader Operator

Seniority Level : Mid Career (4 - 6 yrs exp)

Region : Freestate

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Operate front-end loader safely to excavate, move, and load materials.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks, including inspections of fuel, oil, and lubrication.
  • Handle materials such as aggregate, gravel, soil, and debris.
  • Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of the equipment.
  • Assist with site preparation and planning.
  • Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and ensure the use of appropriate PPE.

Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
  • Valid drivers licence (often Code 8, Code 10 or equivalent depending on site).
  • Formal training / certification as a Front End Loader (FEL) operator.
  • Experience, at least 1-3 years operating FEL in construction, mining, quarry or industrial environment.
  • Medically fit (site medical standards), ability to work shifts.
  • Clean disciplinary / criminal record, as required by employer.
