SAIPA / SAICA Clerks (2026)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (SUMMARY) :

The SAIPA and SAICA trainee programmes each span three years and require candidates to achieve prescribed outcomes. SAIPA focuses on financial and management accounting, taxation, and advisory skills , while SAICA is more audit and assurance orientated , with emphasis on financial reporting, governance, and risk. Both programmes ensure trainees gain the competencies needed to qualify as a Professional Accountant (SA) or a Chartered Accountant (SA) .

REQUIREMENTS :

• Professional Qualification : Clear career path to qualify as PA(SA) (SAIPA) or CA(SA) (SAICA)
• Experience : No work experience required.
• Education :
• SAIPA : Accounting or finance degree completed or completing before end 2025 at a SAIPA recognised university.
• SAICA : Accounting / Auditing degree completed or completing before end 2025 at a SAICA recognised university, preferably currently busy with PGDA.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

Transport : Must have own reliable vehicle (for occasional client visits).

Languages : Prefer Afrikaans home language (clients and company culture).

Other Requirements : Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate leadership qualities.

SALARY BRACKET :

R15 000 CTC p / m (SAIPA)

R18000 - R20000 CTC p / m (SAICA - depending on academic level)
