Summary of the role :
Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needsMeet weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tacticsGenerate leads and build relationships by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outletsDevelop and implement territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the fieldResponsibilities :
Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunitiesIdentify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offeredPossess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and relay objection handlingPrepare professional proposalsAchieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyersKeep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.To maximize the sales of PDS category products (Service, spares, locks, access control etc) through identifying opportunities to expand category salesDistribute marketing & PDS materialTo sell spares and service to existing operator clientsTo sell SLA contracts on existing operators in the marketTo sell new equipment to existing clients as well as upgrade kitsTo promote and always sell ASSA ABLOY productsAny other activities and new initiatives which enhance the development & growth of the PDSEssential Qualifications and Experience :
Grade 12 (matric)Valid Driver’s licenseOwn vehicleComputer literacy (outlook and excel)Good knowledge of the geographical areaGood knowledge of PDS systems and operators would be an advantageTechnical acumen (Basic networking knowledge, understanding of jargon & comfortable with installation & set-up of programs / Apps e.g., pairing devices with IP settings)Solid sales backgroundSkills and Competencies :
