CLIENT GROWTH MANAGER — Strategic Relationship & Revenue Expansion

Cape Town | Western Cape Region : My client, a reputable global marketing and automation consultancy, is seeking to appoint a Client Growth Manager to join their international team. This fully remote-work role suits a commercially minded relationship professional with a passion for strategy, retention, and client success. The company partners with global clients in MedSpa, SaaS, and digital agency sectors, helping them scale through intelligent automation, marketing systems, and measurable growth strategies.

Remote role – based in Western Cape.

Purpose of the Role

Purpose of the Role : To drive revenue growth and long-term client success through strategic relationship management, proactive retention, and expansion initiatives. The role focuses on transforming satisfied clients into loyal advocates and referral partners while maximising lifetime value and measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of international clients, ensuring high satisfaction, retention, and account growth
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs), presenting ROI insights and strategic recommendations
  • Identify and execute revenue expansion opportunities across service categories and client lifecycle stages
  • Develop and implement systematic referral generation programmes and advocacy initiatives
  • Analyse client performance data to identify risks, trends, and business growth potential
  • Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure consistent quality, alignment, and client success
  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor, connecting marketing activities to client business objectives
  • Track and report on retention, expansion, and referral metrics, maintaining detailed CRM records

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in client success, strategic account management, or consulting (agency or SaaS preferred)
  • Proven track record of driving retention, revenue growth, and client advocacy
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of CAC, LTV, ROI, and revenue metrics
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, confident engaging C-suite stakeholders
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret performance dashboards and translate insights into strategy
  • CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Salesforce or similar) with strong organisational discipline
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, high-performance, metrics-driven environment
  • Availability to work US business hours with reliable internet and dedicated home-office setup
  • Hours of Work

    Remote work : Monday–Friday – standard hours for US market alignment

    Mon to Fri : standard = US market alignment 09 : 00 AM – 17 : 00 PM CST | equivalent to 16 : 00 – 12 : 00 SAST

    Flexibility may be required for client meetings across multiple time zones
