Overview
Gammatek is seeking a dynamic and driven Brand Manager to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing selected brands within the Gammatek product portfolio. This includes driving sales performance, strengthening brand presence in the market, and working closely with key internal teams and partners to maximise the potential of each brand.
Responsibilities
- The Brand Manager will manage assigned brands within the Gammatek portfolio, ensuring that each brand achieves its sales growth and profitability objectives.
- The incumbent will collaborate closely with group buyers and the sales team to identify new business opportunities and expand the reach and visibility of the brands they manage.
- They will provide the sales team with accurate, up-to-date product knowledge, promotional information, and merchandising support to help the team meet and exceed sales targets.
- The Brand Manager will act as the primary point of contact for all brand and category-related queries, ensuring that communication across departments remains smooth and effective.
- They will provide regular feedback and insights to the Head of Sales on product performance, market trends, competitor activity, and strategies for category growth.
- The role includes supporting sales representatives who are not meeting their targets by implementing improvement plans and providing guidance to enhance their performance.
- The Brand Manager will also work to strengthen brand visibility by developing and executing merchandising plans, marketing initiatives, and promotional activities that align with Gammatek’s overall objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of brand management principles, product strategy, and category development.They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively across teams.A data-driven mindset and the ability to analyse performance metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies will be essential.The candidate should be proactive, results-oriented, and passionate about technology, innovation, and brand growth.Previous experience in brand or category management, preferably within the consumer electronics or mobile accessories industry, will be highly advantageous.Education and Skills
