Senior Java Developer

Overview

We at PBT Group are looking for an Senior Java Developer with strong SQL skills and hands-on experience in Apache Camel and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes. You’ll be working hybrid with a major financial services client, contributing to the development of high-performance integration solutions in a dynamic, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React for the front-end and Java Spring Boot for the back-end, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
• Design and implement event-driven microservices leveraging Kafka for real-time data streaming and inter-service communication in high-throughput environments.
• Build and optimize database schemas and queries for AWS Aurora Postgres, focusing on performance, data integrity, and scalability.
• Integrate secure file handling workflows including recon file generation, SFTP transfers, and S3 storage for financial data exchange and compliance.
• Implement API gateway solutions using Spring Gateway to manage routing, load balancing, and security for distributed services.
• Support NodeJS-based services within the Open Banking ecosystem, contributing to cross-platform interoperability and third-party API integrations.
