The Department of Education Leadership and Management is one of five departments in the Faculty of Education at UJ. The Department endeavours to fulfil the vision, mission and strategic objectives of UJ with a focus on preparing school leaders and managers (school district officials, principals, deputy principals and departmental heads) to be leading practitioners by dynamically shaping education leadership and management. The staff are committed to providing innovative and quality teaching and learning, and promoting contextually relevant leadership and management research, thinking and practice.
The department invites applications for the academic post of Senior lecturer / Associate Professor in education leadership and management. We seek an individual with excellent academic credentials in teaching and research, and who possesses attributes of adaptability and versatility in respect of the various programmes / courses which the department offers.
