Production Operator L1 - South AfricaJob DescriptionAbout the positionTo operate production equipment in accordance with the required safety, housekeeping , quality and production standardsYou will then need to apply and send your current updated CV, with confirmation of the below : What will you be doing?Safety : Comply with all environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) rules and regulations at all times. (e.g 10 critical safety rules and three obligations)Quality : Check for visual defects and measure basic parameters to ensure compliance with quality standardsMake adjustments to the machine on instruction from the Quality AssociateReport problems outside of incumbent scope to Team LeaderHousekeeping : Maintain world class levels of housekeeping according to the 5’s housekeeping standardsReport all damages or defective equipment as and when damage occursProductivity : Communicate with outgoing counterpart (hand over)Prepare and load raw materials and packaging as required on the machineRun the machine, monitor and make minor adjustments to machine settings to maintain quality, waste and productivity standardsReport any major deviations or defects to Team LeaderParticipate in changing operations supplies (consumables)Provide assistance to Team Leader as instructedAbout UsHuggies.
