Duties & Responsibilities

• End-to-End Accounting : Managing the entire accounting process for allocated companies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of entries using Xero.
• Management Information : Collaborating with the Financial Controller to produce accurate Management Information for clients.
• Team Management : Leading and managing the offshore team, ensuring work is distributed evenly and completed to a high standard.
• Client Interaction : Presenting key findings to clients and acting as a finance business partner.
• Monthly Management Accounts : Producing monthly management accounts, handling accruals and prepayments, maintaining fixed asset registers, and managing control accounts.
• Supervision : Supervising Accounts Assistants.
• Financial Reporting : Providing financial information promptly and accurately, including VAT and other statutory returns.
• Contractor Gross Profit Reports : Reviewing reports for allocated companies and assisting with commission calculations.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations : Preparing relevant accounts and supporting schedules for review by the Financial Controller.
• Ledger Postings : Checking and reviewing postings to accounting ledgers.
• Debt Management : Keeping management informed about aged debt status.
• Holiday Cover : Providing holiday cover for Contractor Payroll for allocated companies.
