Your Key Responsibilities
- Supporting our clients across various risk and prudential-related topics.
- Managing Regulatory audits of the BA Returns for banking clients, from end-to-end, for smaller banks and supporting larger multinational banking groups.
- Overseeing and participating in projects, mainly non-audit services, focusing on prudential and risk management aspects such as ICAAP reviews, Pillar 3 disclosures, governance, and Basel regulatory reforms.
- Establishing internal and external relationships, and identifying and escalating potential business opportunities within existing engagements.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Knowledge of banking and prudential regulatory environment.Experience with banking systems, financial products, regulations, and risk management.Familiarity with Basel III framework, both theoretical and practical, and best practices in regulatory reporting.Understanding of Basel framework reforms and current auditing techniques related to regulatory returns.Detailed understanding of risk-based auditing and risk control strategies.Minimum Qualifications
CA(SA) or other risk-related qualification.Familiarity with SARB prudential requirements, including Banks Act and Basel regulations.Experience in the Financial Services sector, either from auditing, consulting, or within a
