The successful candidate will work alongside senior engineers to assist in the design, development and optimisation of specialised biomedical equipment. You will contribute to concept development, 3D modelling, prototyping, testing, and documentation while gaining hands-on exposure to regulatory and quality standards in the biomedical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the mechanical design and drafting of biomedical components and assemblies
- Support prototype development, testing and design validation
- Prepare design documentation including drawings, BOMs and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
- Participate in design reviews and contribute creative solutions
- Follow engineering best practices and support compliance with industry standards
Requirements
BEng / BSc Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (recent graduate)Strong interest in biomedical engineering or medical-device developmentProficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo or similar)Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detailWillingness to learn, innovate and grow within a specialised industryGood communication and teamwork skills
