Senior Structural Engineer (Mpumalanga)

A well-established organisation within the Engineering niche’ is looking for an Engineer to lead the engineering projects and participate in civil and structural engineering. If you are an ECSA registered Engineer with experience in Design and Construction; then this is for you!

Your key responsibilities :

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and understanding specific project scope and deliverables, manage the submission of competitive proposals, liaise with other professional team members, coordination and management of structural engineering design team, planning and management of the engineering aspects of projects in terms of scope, time, costs and quality and prepare contract administration documentation based on NEC3 / NEC4.

Our required expertise :

• BEng and BSc Civil Engineering is required.
• ECSA Registered Technologist or Engineer is required.
• 8 years of experience in engineering and design of concrete and steel structures.
• Must have experience in the design of reinforced concrete and structural steel structures.
• Experience in leading structural design projects, including resource planning and design time frame estimates.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of software like Bentley Microstation and / or AutoCAD, Prokon and Revit.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas Environment will be an advantage.
