Role Responsibilities
- Translate and implement client requirements and project specifications effectively.
- Represent the company in meetings with vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
- Collaborate across mechanical, civil, electrical, control systems, and draughting teams.
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and evaluations for equipment tenders and purchase orders.
- Conduct technical evaluations of vendor proposals and liaise for clarifications.
- Coordinate with external consultants and suppliers to meet project needs.
- Assist with commissioning planning and documentation — including test procedures, commissioning plans, and operating manuals.
- Oversee on‑site verification, pre‑commissioning, cold / hot commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Perform performance testing and compile detailed reports.
- Deliver operator training and develop training manuals.
- Participate in punch walks with clients and cross‑disciplinary teams.
- Drive problem‑solving initiatives both on‑site and in‑office.
- Ensure company standards, procedures, and systems are implemented and maintained.
- Produce technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Attend trade fairs, technical seminars, and training relevant to your role.
- Support the Project Manager and perform related duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
A B.Sc or B.Eng in Chemical Engineering (essential).5–10 years’ experience as a Process or Commissioning Engineer in water treatment, turnkey projects, or a related industry.ECSA Candidate Engineer registration (advantageous).Strong communication, organization, and report‑writing skills.Proficiency in Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).A proactive, team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work across multiple disciplines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
