Responsibilities

• Quickly gain necessary knowledge / skills to start contributing to NYSHEX success and own execution of your projects with minimal direction
• Own the planning, development, check control, stakeholder involvement, and documentation of new innovative analytical algorithms / processes / features that generate valuable insights for our users, and to be used and implemented across our Engineering and Operations team
• Always seek improvements of current processes and feel comfortable voicing anything that requires attention from teammates / other stakeholders
• Implement designed algorithms using low-code tools (Alteryx or Dataiku)
• Work closely with NYSHEX Engineering and Product teams to automate manual processes, enhancing user experience and increasing efficiency
• Develop detailed documentation to ensure process operators can effectively and efficiently operate algorithms / processes
• Mentor more junior teammates as needed
• Support other core NYSHEX operational processes as needed
