A Data Privacy Consultant is sought to audit and evaluate our current EDC (External Debt Collectors) processes and practices to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations. This role involves a hybrid work model, requiring travel to external providers and collaboration with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit and Evaluation : Conduct thorough audits of EDC processes to manage client data privacy compliance.
- Risk Management : Assess and understand how risk is managed by third-party providers.
- Process Review : Evaluate the processes involved in the distribution, mining, and consumption of data by external debt collectors.
- Data Privacy Compliance : Ensure that data privacy and storage practices comply with relevant regulations and best practices.
- Reporting : Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on audit findings.
- Consultation : Advise on improvements and necessary changes to enhance data privacy and compliance.
- Collaboration : Work closely with external providers and internal stakeholders to implement recommended changes.
Requirements
Experience : Proven experience in auditing and evaluating data privacy processes, particularly in relation to external debt collection.Technical Proficiency : Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices.Analytical Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Communication : Effective verbal and written communication skills.Travel : Willingness to travel to external third-party providers as required.Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in data privacy, information security, or a related field.Preferred Experience
