Solution Architect (IT Risk / Governance)

Job Description

The role of the Solutions Architect (IT Risk / Governance) encompasses many activities including (but not limited to) :

• Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure IT solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to governance standards.
• Conducting risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities and threats to proposed solutions.
• Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, including security controls and contingency plans, to minimise exposure to potential risks.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as data protection regulations and security frameworks.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to establish governance frameworks and ensure alignment with organisational policies and procedures.
• Documenting governance and risk management aspects of solution designs, including risk assessments, compliance requirements, and mitigation strategies.
• Communicating effectively with project stakeholders and other teams to address governance and risk-related concerns and ensure the successful implementation of solutions
