Junior Electrical Engineer

Our client, a power solutions company with offices in Somerset West and Johannesburg , is looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team in their Somerset West Office as soon as possible. The successful candidate will work on off-grid projects and travel to clients who are on luxury safari lodges and game farms in Southern Africa, as well as work on local client projects.

The ideal candidate is someone who is confident and willing to tackle problems or new tasks and can get things done. The position entails a lot of design work, cost benefits analysis, building solutions, and assisting clients in identifying the best solutions to their current situations.

Requirements :

• B.Sc. or BTech Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is essential.
• 2 – 5 years working experience in a consulting engineering company.
• Mechanical Design experience is essential.
• Electrical Design experience is essential.
• Building solutions experience is required.
• Solar and generator work experience is required.
• Microgrid experience is beneficial.

Area : Somerset West

Salary offered : R30 000 – R50 000 per month (depending on experience).

Starting date : As soon as possible.
