Triton Academy – Talent Pool for Future Learnership Opportunities

Triton Academy is a TETA and QCTO accredited training provider offering courses in NC Professional Driving (Occupational Certificate: Truck Driver) to unemployed learners. These courses are designed to develop industry- and job-specific skills, empowering participants with the knowledge and competencies needed to excel in the logistics field. Training is available in Johannesburg and the Academy can also assist customers wherever possible with the same courses.

We are currently building a talent pool of motivated and committed individuals for our 12-month National Certificate: Professional Driving/ Occupational Certificate: Truck Driver. This program is aimed at empowering unemployed South African youth through structured training and hands-on experience in the logistics industry.

Please note: This is not an immediate open position but rather an opportunity to be considered for future learnership intakes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensuring goods are correctly stacked, secured, and protected during transit
• Operating vehicles responsibly under varying road and weather conditions
• Delivering and collecting freight on time while maintaining service standards
• Reporting vehicle defects, incidents, or delays promptly to supervisors
• Performing ancillary duties and general housekeeping in the warehouse and yard
• Providing professional and courteous service when interacting with customers and colleagues
