Wine Lounge Runner

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Wine Lounge Runner to join a luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch. This role is responsible for supporting the kitchen and front-of-house team, ensuring that the Wine Lounge is impeccably presented and prepared for guests.

Key Responsibilities :

Clean and maintain the kitchen and front-of-house areas

Clear tables of glasses, plates and other items

Serve platters from the kitchen to tables

Assist the wine lounge cook with plating, polishing glasses and washing dishes

Collect and manage water bottles

Ensure bins are emptied before and after service

Keep kitchen fridges stocked and organised

Set up tables outside each morning

Polish spittoons and maintain presentation items

Ensure all displays are fresh, clean and visually appealing

Deliver excellent guest service and contribute to a memorable experience

Be knowledgeable about the estate’s products and offerings

Demonstrate problem-solving skills and a “get it done” attitude

Requirements :

Own or reliable transport

Preferably 1–2 years’ previous experience in a similar role

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong customer service orientation

Comfortable interacting with distinguished clientele

Well-presented, enthusiastic and flexible

Willingness to work flexible hours

Package :

Salary negotiable depending on experience
