Mechanical Design Engineer

Job descriptionBachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Proven working experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer . Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory). Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials. Experience with design analysis, FEA, and simulation tools will be advantageous. Good understanding of engineering principles, tolerances, and GD&T. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Creative thinker with innovative design skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create and develop 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
- Design and optimise mechanical systems, components, and assemblies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Perform design calculations and simulations to validate concepts.
- Support prototyping, testing, and design reviews.
- Prepare technical documentation and bill of materials (BOMs).
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in design processes and standards.
