PLC and Maintenance Specialist

As a PLC and Maintenance Specialist, youâ ll manage, program, and maintain PLC and SCADA systems, with a focus on Allen-Bradley platforms. Youâ ll perform electrical maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and supervise weekend shifts to ensure operational efficiency. This role demands technical excellence, leadership, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Education:

• Electrical qualification (NQF Level 5 or higher)
• Millwright certification highly beneficial

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Proven experience in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley preferred)
• Strong SCADA system knowledge and integration experience
• Extensive electrical maintenance experience in industrial settings
• Proficiency in PLC languages (Ladder Logic and Structured Text)
• Leadership and supervisory skills for weekend shifts
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
