Junior Accountant (Fixed Assets)

My client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their Group Finance team on a 7-month contract . In this role, youll support the Fixed Asset Accountants in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the Groups fixed asset register and help manage the operational aspects of fleet administration across the different divisions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain and Reconcile the Fixed Asset Register :

Ensure that the fixed asset register is complete, accurate, and up to date, including preparing asset transactions and reconciliations for approval.

Run monthly depreciation journals and contribute to operational reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Perform asset-related analyses and provide support and training to fixed asset staff across all divisions.

Assist with fleet maintenance queries and follow up on escalated issues from various brands.

Monitor Fresh Service queries, respond within agreed timelines, and compile documentation for internal and external audits.

Assist with processing Capex applications, ensure alignment with SOPs, and provide guidance to brand staff on Capex procedures.
