We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Office and Accounts Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy professional services environment. This pivotal role involves managing a small admin team, ensuring smooth office functionality, and taking ownership of accounting and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- You will be responsible for supervising the Office Administrator, Receptionist, Tender Administrators, and Accounting Trainees, while coordinating everything from front-office operations and facilities to statutory compliance and HR admin.
- Key duties will include overseeing tender submissions, handling accounts payable and receivable, tracking budgets, managing WIP and invoicing, and supporting financial reporting.
- Sales and marketing : Conduct thorough research to identify potential markets, customer segments, and emerging trends to explore untapped opportunities for business expansion. Analyse market trends and historical data to make accurate sales projections and revenue forecasts. Monitor sales performance against targets and take proactive measures to ensure continuous growth.
Job Experience and Skills Required :
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related fieldThe ideal candidate will have at least 7 years' experience in office management or accounting, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Proven leadership and team supervision experienceSolid accounting knowledge, including invoicing, reporting, and budget trackingExcellent multitasking, organisation, and communication skillsExperience in a SME / audit firm would be advantageousThe role will also involve 60% sales and marketing focused.Apply now!
