Job description

Minimum requirements :

  • Trade Test : Fitter
  • 2 - 3 Years post trade experience with pumps, electrical motors, and gearboxes
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Valid drivers license + own reliable vehicle is advantageous

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assemble, maintain, and repair electrical pumps, motors, and gearboxes
  • Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out effective troubleshooting
  • Strip, repair, and rebuild gearboxes and pump systems to specification
  • Work with precision measuring equipment and technical drawings
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
  • Uphold safety standards and adhere to company policies
