The Role : Finance Controller

As our Finance Controller, you will play a critical role in building and scaling Jabu's financial structure and controls to support our ambitious growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy & Planning : Develop and implement financial strategies to support Jabu's rapid scaling in Southern Africa, managing key metrics and ensuring alignment with business goals
• Budgeting & Forecasting : Lead financial planning, including budgeting and forecasting, to guide Jabu's financial trajectory in a high-growth environment
• Financial Reporting & Compliance : Oversee financial reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial statements, compliance with regulations, and readiness for potential audits
• Cash Flow Management & Reconciliation : Design and manage efficient cash flow controls, reconciliation processes, and CIT operations, aligning with Jabu's mission to make cash management seamless for clients
• Stakeholder Engagement : Act as a trusted advisor to company leadership, delivering financial insights that shape strategic decision-making and keep us at the forefront of the industry
• Process Optimization : Identify and implement financial process improvements, optimizing everything from cash handling to financial reporting for scalability and efficiency
