Senior Accountant – Durban

Shift Pursuit is proud to partner with a retail company based in Durban in their search for a Senior Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to take ownership of a wide range of finance-related responsibilities and contribute to the financial integrity and operational efficiency of a busy retail environment.

Key Performance Areas :

• Review and approve salaries, commissions, VAT returns, EMP201 submissions, and payroll-related documents
• Conduct monthly audits on asset register and filing structure
• Review all SOPs, system descriptions, and job tasks for Finance and Buying
• Sign off on Fleet Card reconciliations and Manac Pack for presentation
• Close off monthly reviews by the 9th of each month
• Present monthly Manac for Finance and Buying to GM and Auditor
