About the RoleThis is not a standard office hours role. Fresh produce logistics operate on strict timelines driven by harvests and vessel schedules. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and resilient Logistics Coordinator to manage stock, shipments, and export documentation in a fast-paced export environment. Peak season requires extended hours, weekend work, and standby availability, with greater flexibility during off-peak periods.

Responsibilities

Manage stock, shipments, and export documentation

Support extended hours, weekends, and standby during peak season

Ensure accuracy, accountability, and operational efficiency

Make sound decisions under pressure in time-sensitive situations

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or similar

Required Skills (These are the minimum required experience if you do not meet this your application will not be shortlisted)

Experience with logistics and stock management systems QX systems experience is not negotiable

Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills

Ability to work with forecasts, reconciliations, and operational reports

Candidates MUST have a minimum of 2 years fruit export logistics experience this is essential

Proven experience in fruit export or fresh produce logistics

Solid understanding of cold chain and export operations

Must be willing to work weekends

Language Requirements

Fluent in English

Afrikaans proficiency
