Event Lighting Designer & Render Specialist

ZAR 30K - 33K Per Month (plus bonus)

Limited Edition Event Design is the UK’s leading supplier of design and technical production services to red-carpet film premieres, photo-shoots, experiential and film related events. Recent credits include BAFTA Film Awards, Mission Impossible, F1 Movie, Jurassic World, Minecraft, Wicked and the London Fashion Awards to name but a few.

Due to expansion, we are seeking a freelance Lighting Designer to work along side our current graphics designer also based in Cape Town. In general, this will be a remote working (work from home) role with weekly meetings with our graphic designer along with ad-hoc trips to the UK to implement designs.

The core foundation of the role is a high level of experience in 3D event design, focused on lighting but a knowledge of all production elements such as rigging, LED screens and sound is a distinct advantage. Our workflow is Vectorworks for design followed by Twin Motion for renders (both static and fly through).

The role will require hand in hand working with our CT graphic designer along with our Creative Director based in London. You will be creating detailed renders, build plans and equipment lists to support the entire UK team.

To be considered for this role you must possess a strong knowledge of technical production along with 3D design skills based around our core software.

Turnaround times are often very quick, our workflow is never dull... Last year we provided technical production for over 200 events. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative to join a company working on some of the largest film launches in the world.

Hours are UK office hours (0900 - 1800)
