Engineering Intern

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks an enthusiastic student for an Engineering Intern positions in our Centurion office. The ideal candidate must be a based in South Africa for this position. Applicants who recently graduated or pursuing final year in electrical power systems or power engineering field is preferred only!

As an Engineering Intern a typical day might include the following:

• Provide technical support to SEL staff & customers.

• Develop and maintain knowledge in SEL processes and technologies.

• Perform testing on new and existing technology.

• Document and communicate test results.

This job might be for you if:

• You are a fresh graduate or current final year student pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical/Power Engineering.

• You have the ability to work full time.

• You have an interest in electrical power systems protection and control.

• Working knowledge of emulators and logic analyzers

• You have practical knowledge of 3-phase power systems

• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Pay Range Data

Our intern pay is determined based on the internship role and on hourly basis.
