Overview

Msuez Uk is a leading transportation and logistics company with operations in South Africa.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Fleet Controller to join our team in Johannesburg South.

The Fleet Controller will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of our fleet, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the fleet, including scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of vehicles

Monitor and maintain accurate records of vehicle locations, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules

Communicate with drivers to ensure on-time delivery of goods and services

Coordinate with maintenance department to ensure timely repairs and maintenance of fleet vehicles

Track and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities

Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements

Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet efficiency and reduce costs

Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall operations

Train and mentor new drivers on company policies and procedures

Prepare and submit reports on fleet performance and expenses to management

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years experience in fleet management or a similar role

Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics operations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office and fleet management software

Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements for fleet operations

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred)
