Irrigation Supervisor

Minimum requirements :

• At least 3 years hands-on experience supervising irrigation systems in agriculture, forestry, or large-scale horticultural projects
• Strong technical knowledge of pumps, valves, sprinklers, drip irrigation, and water distribution systems
• Computer literate; able to use software for irrigation planning, monitoring, and record-keeping
• Comfortable with basic calculations and water flow measurements
• Basic understanding of tree and plant water requirements, soil moisture management, and irrigation scheduling
• Ability to lead, coordinate, and motivate a small irrigation team
• Reliable transport and residence close to Stellenbosch for consistent oversight
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to troubleshoot technical issues and implement practical solutions
