Salesworx is proud to partner with the exclusive distributor of the world’s leading industrial laundry equipment manufacturer. We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Sales Representative to join their team and drive equipment sales in the Gauteng  region, including Mpumalanga and Limpopo.

A strong sales background is essential. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, coachable, and a natural networker. Potential clients include student residences, hostels, hospitality businesses, food manufacturers, mines, and any organization with on-site laundry operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and drive all equipment sales within the assigned area.
  • Respond to website inquiries and provide quotations for potential new business.
  • Proactively prospect and develop new business opportunities.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend the correct equipment solutions.
  • Conduct pre-installation and post-installation site inspections.
  • Prepare and present customized laundry layouts.
  • Regularly visit key clients and potential new customers to build relationships and drive sales.
  • Provide weekly activity updates and monthly quote reports to the Sales Manager.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using Salesforce (CRM).

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the equipment, industrial, or construction sectors.
  • A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Previous experience in B2B sales and relationship management.
  • Basic understanding of the products being sold, which may include heavy machinery, equipment, and related tools.
  • Familiarity with the technical aspects of the equipment, such as plumbing, electrical, or mechanical knowledge, is often beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present products effectively and interact with clients.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with preference for candidates who have a relevant tertiary qualification in sales, marketing, or a technical field
