Foreign Investment income is frequently taxed at a high statutory withholding tax rate.

With over £30 billion of Withholding Tax deducted globally, many billions are left unclaimed by their rightful owners.

We are expanding our Vatwire Dividend Withholding Tax Ltd (DWT) business and are seeking a senior, detail-oriented and client-focused professional to join our Team.

This role involves working directly with clients to obtain all required documentation and coordinating with custodians to ensure efficient and timely processing of Dividend Withholding Tax Transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding DWT documentation.

Guide clients through the completion of necessary forms (e.g., power of attorney, letter of intent).

Liaise with custodians, depositories, and other intermediaries to obtain dividend information & documentation.

Maintain accurate records of client documentation.

Monitor timelines to ensure documentation is received well in advance of statutory deadlines and follow up on pending documentation.

Respond to client and intermediary queries in a professional and timely manner.

Assist in the onboarding of new clients to the DWT service.

Requirements

Proven experience in a client-facing role within financial services, ideally in DWT tax operations, custody, or asset servicing.

Strong understanding of dividend withholding tax processes and documentation.

Experience dealing with global custodians is a strong plus.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple client relationships and deadlines simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM or workflow management tools is a plus.
