Field Service CNC Technician / Engineer

Position : Field Service CNC Technician

Location : East Rand, possible relocation to Durban in 6-12months time

Basic salary : R35 000 - R45 000CTC plus company car

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Main responsibilities for this position are as follows :

• Field Service repairs to CNC, LASER and ROBOT
• Perform Preventative Maintenance Services on CNC machines.
• Maintain & strengthen relationships with existing customers.
• Growing existing business through the identification of opportunities at existing customers through understanding of new applications with new technologies available
• Assist in bi-annual stock take.
• Strong fault-finding skills – electrical and mechanical.
• Must be confident. – Able to communicate professionally with customers.
• Job Requires a lot of driving - and travel on short notice. (Company car and fuel provided. )
• International travel – may be require – depending on service call.

QUALIFICATIONS

National Diploma Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics (S4+1yr practical)

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields :

Qualified Electrician / Millwright.

At least N6 Electrical / Electronic Engineering certificate from a recognised technical college.
