SUMMARY :

Our client, a leader in innovative manufacturing and fabrication techniques, is seeking a talented Boilermaker Supervisor to join their dynamic team.

POSITION INFO : Responsibilities :

  • Allocate Pipe Fitters, Boilermakers, and other team members to tasks efficiently.
  • Monitor production and fit-up / fabrication progress, ensuring the quality and productivity of team members.
  • Report any production-related and non-conformance issues to management promptly.
  • Estimate time allocation for specific jobs and monitor progress accordingly.
  • Troubleshoot defects in collaboration with Quality and other team members, providing possible causes and solutions to management.
  • Assign tasks and targets to personnel on-site in close coordination with management, tailored to workload, project, and company requirements.
  • Assign personnel based on qualifications, abilities, and experience in close coordination with the Workshop Supervisor to meet project deadlines.

Requirements :

  • Artisan or related qualification in Pipe Fitting or Boiler making.
  • Proven track record of progressing from Artisan to Team Leader / Supervisor in engineering or related industries (Welding, Pipe Fitting, Steel Production).
  • Supervisory training is advantageous.
  • Ability to lead by example and perform Artisan tasks as needed
