Electrical Engineer - Energy Consultant

Top multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their Energy Division as an Energy Consultant.

You will be involved in the growth of the energy team with a particular focus on electrical engineering aspects of projects, as well as business development and project management support for PV, wind, battery storage, green hydrogen, and mini / micro grid projects.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• BEng. or BSc. Eng. in Electrical Engineering (preferably with a further qualification in renewable energy)
• 4 - 6 years relevant experience
• Design experience in renewable energy projects
• Writing technical reports and presentations, compiling design drawings and presentations
• Preparation of bids and proposals and support Senior Engineers in winning work
• The focus will be on grid connections and large project context; understanding the structure and roles of players is important
• Financial acumen, with respect to energy projects and project finance will be a bonus
• Project management support to the lead Project Manager for the delivery of lenders' technical advisory, owner's engineer, and design services within the renewable energy sector
