Our client in Pinelands specializes in investment offers and wealth management. They are looking for a Portfolio Administrator to assume responsibility for performing the tasks that comprise the administrative service offering to Clients, thereby contributing to the ongoing client relationship.

Duties & Responsibilities

EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Permanent

SECTOR : Finance

BASIC SALARY : R18 000 – R25 000 CTC depending on experience

START DATE : Immediate

Requirements :

  • Degree / Diploma in Finance
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Industry related training
  • MS Office Word and Excel - non negotiable
  • Must have attention to detail
  • Must be able to think and plan creatively

Duties :

  • New business implementation
  • Marketing plan implementation
  • Relief reception duties
  • Comply with FAIS and FICA acts and other relevant legislation
  • Client Services :

  • Ensure the accurate production of all Client portfolio review documentation and reports
  • Regularly update and maintain Client, insurance and investment information in the Client management system
  • Implementation of all switches or redemptions, including all fund manager follow-ups and completing forms where necessary
  • Implementation of all changes to insurance benefits or coverage
  • Co-ordination of all claims correspondence and life office follow-up of claims progress
  • Administration :

  • Ensure all client files and electronic records are maintained in line with procedures outlined in the policies and procedures manual.
  • Prepare new Client files as needed
  • Develop and Maintain Relationships :

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key service providers, particularly Fund Managers and life companies
  • New Client Take-on :

  • Attend or contribute towards client meetings as requested by the Adviser
  • Performance Assessment :

  • Contribute towards setting individual objectives and KPIs in conjunction with Advisers and Business Manager based on achieving business objectives
  • Compliance :

  • Comply with company procedures to support compliance with the FAIS and FICA acts and other relevant legislation
  • Hours :

  • 08h00 – 17h00 (Mon – Fri)
