Job Title: Motion Graphics Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and versatile mid-level Motion Graphics Designer to join our team as a full-time employee. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and visually stunning motion graphics for a variety of digital screens in retail and workplace environments. You will play a key role in bringing brands to life through dynamic visuals, ensuring a fresh and captivating experience for our clients and their audiences. This position requires a blend of creative vision, technical expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and create compelling motion graphics based on project briefs and brand guidelines.
• Develop storyboards and translate ideas into visually engaging animations.
• Design and produce a variety of content, including short looping videos, full-screen visuals, and interactive infographics.
• Adapt and edit existing brand videos to fit various screen sizes and formats.
• Apply client’s brand guidelines consistently and effectively across all projects.
• Source stock footage, music, and other assets as needed.
• Collaborate with project designers, project managers, and other team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest motion graphics trends, techniques, and software.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions effectively.
• Utilize generative AI tools to enhance and expedite the creative process.

Qualifications:

• Include a link to your online portfolio showcasing your motion graphics and video work.
• Five (5) years of work experience in motion graphics design.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro is essential.
• Solid understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong storyboarding and conceptual skills.
• Versatility in animation styles and techniques (2D, 3D, kinetic typography, etc).
• Experience with video editing is a must.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
• Agency or retail experience desired.
• Must be highly organized and able to work independently.
• Experience with sound design is a plus.
