Job descriptionGrade 12 (with maths & accounting) 2 – 3 years’ experience as a cashier or bank experience as well as general office experience Computer literate (Word, Excel & Syspro) Receive and recount cash from drivers. Process payment against the correct driver as per receipt. Make up bank, ensuring that it balances daily. Record cash and cheques in cash-up summary. Prepare deposit for bank. Record seal numbers in register. Keep the cash office door locked at all times. Lock cash in safe overnight. Previous days taking to be removed from premises in a timely manner. Keep cash shortages to a minimum. Accounting / Financial Services jobs
