Desired Experience & Qualification

• Degree / Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse.
• Additional theatre / operating room qualification (post-basic qualification or relevant short course).
• Minimum of 23 years experience as a Theatre Scrub Nurse in a multi-disciplinary operating theatre (general orthopaedic cardiac neurology etc.).
• Sound knowledge of infection control standards and surgical procedures.
