Gavanni Insure (FSP is a dynamic, rapidly growing, black-owned financial services provider specializing in comprehensive funeral risk administration. We are committed to redefining reliability and service excellence in the funeral insurance market. We partner with funeral parlours and various group schemes, but are aggressively expanding our direct-to-public sales (B2C) footprint. The Role

Driving Revenue and Growth

The Contact Centre Sales Agent is a revenue-generating role, responsible for converting leads into active policies and contributing directly to the company's target. This is an application-based sales role that requires the ability to conduct fast, TCF-compliant Needs Analyses and close deals effectively.

Responsibilities and Performance Metrics

  • Sales Target Achievement (Critical)

Achieve and maintain the minimum sales target.

  • Strive for the high-performance benchmark to contribute to the company's annual strategic goals.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from cold-calling and lead qualification to contract initiation.
  • Needs-Based Selling & Compliance
  • Conduct rapid Needs Analyses (using the 4-Step Call-to-Quote Flow) to recommend the most cost-effective Individual Plans (Single Member, Single Parent, Extended Family) to clients.

  • Anchor the value proposition in the policy's affordability, not just low price.
  • Administrative & System Duties
  • Collect all initial client data and FICA documentation accurately for seamless contract hand-over to the Operations Team.

  • Guide clients through the Digital Onboarding process via the AI WhatsApp Agent and online portals.
  • Provide accurate and honest reporting on sales activities, pipeline health, and lead conversion metrics to the Sales Manager.
  • Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience : Minimum 3 years in a target-driven sales or contact centre environment (experience in insurance / financial services is advantageous).
  • Qualifications : Matric (Grade 12) is mandatory. A relevant tertiary qualification is beneficial.
  • Regulatory : Completion of the RE5 Regulatory Examination.
  • Skills & Attributes :
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

  • Proven ability to handle high-pressure objections (e.g., price and trust / reputation issues).
  • Goal-driven, resilient, and possesses a strong work ethic.
  • Fluent in English and at least one other South African language (fully bilingualism is preferred).
