ARE YOU OUR NEXT NATIONAL PROCUREMENT AND FACILITIES MANAGER? Be the driving force behind smarter procurement and scalable infrastructure.We're looking for a strategic leader to transform how we source, manage, and maintain the critical goods, services, and facilities that power our national logistics network. As the National Procurement and Facilities Manager, you will take ownership of procurement, infrastructure and facilities management nationally across all sites, ensuring everything from fleet and fuel to IT systems and safety equipment is sourced efficiently, sustainably, and cost-effectively.This role goes beyond traditional procurement. You’ll lead supplier and asset management, contract and SLA governance, master data control, property and cost management, and the implementation of automation and maintenance programs. You"ll also drive key initiatives in space utilisation, energy efficiency, sustainability, and full process documentation.

Your core focus areas

  • Strategic Procurement Management

Develop and execute national procurement strategies aligned with overall business objectives.

  • Lead end-to-end procurement for key categories, including fleet, fuel, lubricants, material handling equipment (MHE), uniforms, consumables, IT systems, software, and hardware.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximise value and ensure quality.
  • Manage procurement policies, compliance controls, and ensure alignment with internal standards and external regulations.
  • Oversee the fleet acquisition and onboarding process in line with operational requirements.
  • Champion sustainability-focused sourcing and the integration of innovative technologies.
  • Facilities & Infrastructure Management
  • Oversee preventive and reactive maintenance across all sites.

  • Lead initiatives in space optimisation, energy efficiency, safety compliance, and sustainability.
  • Manage vendor relationships for facilities services including cleaning, security, and technical maintenance.
  • Ensure all infrastructure meets operational, compliance, and environmental standards.
  • Contract & Supplier Relationship Management
  • Establish and manage supplier contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure performance, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.

  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and address non-compliance or disputes swiftly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier master data and contract documentation.
  • Asset Management
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of physical assets—from acquisition and allocation to maintenance and disposal.

  • Implement robust asset tracking systems and lifecycle management processes to optimise utilisation and minimise loss.
  • People & Process Leadership
  • Build and lead a high-performing procurement and facilities team with a focus on continuous improvement, training, and compliance.

  • Drive the adoption of best practices and ensure consistent execution of procurement and infrastructure processes nationwide.
  • Financial & Performance Management
  • Manage procurement and facilities budgets with a focus on cost control and value creation.

  • Analyse spend data and procurement metrics to identify savings opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support strategic planning through data-driven insights and reporting.
  • Minimum requirements

  • Proven experience (8–10 years) in procurement, IT procurement, and / or facilities management, with at least 5 years in a senior national leadership or management role.
  • Demonstrated success in supplier contract negotiation and service level agreement (SLA) management.
  • Strong track record in asset and infrastructure management, including lifecycle planning.
  • Extensive exposure to IT procurement, automation systems, and related technologies.
  • Experience working within logistics, transport, or warehousing environments will be a strong advantage.
  • Facilities management exposure, including preventive and reactive maintenance, vendor management, and compliance oversight.
  • Solid business acumen and deep understanding of organisational processes.
