Finance Accountant

Financial Accountant Century City Cape Town
Agricultural Industry
Salary: R 300000 R 360000 per annum

Minimum Requirements:

• Completed BCom Accounting degree
• Completed SAICA articles
• 24 years postarticle financial accounting experience (advantageous)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles reconciliations & reporting
• Experience working in a fastpaced environment
• Advanced Excel skills and competency on accounting systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Full accounting function up to trial balance
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Fixed asset management and maintenance of FAR
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• VAT tax submissions and compliance
• Assisting with audits (internal & external)
• Cash flow monitoring and forecasting
• Support to Financial Manager with ad hoc reporting
