Overview

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria :

  • Candidates with qualifications in accounting or finance will only be considered.
  • Fast learner that can work independently and has a driven and positive personality
  • The prospective candidate NEEDS to be teachable and trainable so that with time, he / she will be able to learn the other programmes used in house

Experience requirements for the position :

  • Pastel and SAGE processing experience, both manual processing and importing
  • Comfortable and confident with debtors / creditors, both manual processing and importing
  • Comfortable and confident with bank recons and pulling reports, both manual processing and importing
  • Efiling knowledge and experience
  • Previous accounting firm experience (or experience in financial statement preparation) would be a definite advantage
  • Experience in SARS submissions and VAT returns would be an advantage
